#HairCare

As a kid, I had always hated my hair.

It was curly, unruly and simply hard to take care of. Imagine this. At the age of ten, I had my first straightening experience and it was fucking brutal. The salon managed to fuck up with my hair and it didn’t straighten properly the first time so they had to do it twice. TWICE.

Even then, the so called ‘permanent straightening’ didn’t last. It took approximately six months before it started to curl and it looked absolutely horrible.

So finally, at the age of fifteen, I decided to stop fighting with it but it was too late. I’m not sure what the salon did exactly, but my hair became delicate. The strands are much thinner now and I no longer have thick locks that I wish I still had.

Looking back, I regret deciding to have my hair straighten. Now I’m spending hundreds of thousands just trying to repair the damage done nine years ago. This is not to say I’m never going to straighten my hair again. I’m very fickle with my hair and when I don’t like how it looks, I chop off my hair without thinking. Regret often ensues but there’s usually nothing I can do.

As I type this, I currently have short curly hair since I chopped it off a few months back. The ends were dry and although I know people usually just trim theirs, I got trigger happy with the scissors and chopped off around six inches.

Anyways, the reason why I’m typing is, is because I’m trying to grow my hair again. I’m looking into products to use for people with my problem and I don’t want to have dry ends when I grow it out. I plan on making this as a thread, to follow up with reviews of random hair products I try and to see if it really works.

Hmmm, what should I call this though?

My IQ's dropping.

What the hell is up with my writing?

After reading yesterday's post, I can't help but feel so...silly. Its like I've reverted back to my pre-teen years where all I could talk about was anime and how unfair my parent were.

Shudder.

Please excuse yesterday's terrible post. I solemnly swear to produce more thought provoking posts and to use the word 'Anyways' less frequently.

So, how has the first week of 2014 treating you so far? Mine's off to a shit start, as usual. I still have no friends (which is why I preoccupy my time with blogging) and I still feel like a total weirdo in my school.

I can't help but feel every time I open my mouth, everyone is judging me. I can speak Tagalog perfectly fine, except my accent is quite off. To me, I sound like everyone else but to the trained ear, i probably sound like a fish out of water.

Sigh.

Someone love me.

Lol. By the way, don't you just hate it when people speak acronyms in real life? As in, saying TY instead of thanks and LOL instead of laughing? This irritates me cause it sounds like you don't actually mean it. Like even the small effort of speaking words isn't worth it.

TTYL.

Hahaha.

It's the start of something new: Gluta white review

Please ignore my choice of title. High school musical was on TV and that song was playing.

Anyways, a few days ago I decided to head down to Generics Pharmacy and purchase some gluta white tabs for myself. You can buy these there or at Mercury Drugstore and you can also choose how many pills you'd like to buy.

I bought 14 capsules to last me a week since I just wanted to test run it. I've heard about the ph388 and the KB ones but have you guys read the article about them? Apparently all gluathione that is being sold contain less than what they claim. If i recall correctly, KB only had 5 grams of gluathione. (Don't quote me on this)

The only two brands that passed was Met-tathione and Gluta-White.

Anyways, I've been taking it since Monday and I do see a glowing effect on my skin which I am pleased. However I must warn you not to take it on an empty stomach. I took it before I went to school and man oh man. I felt like I drank 8 liters of coke. Eventually I burped and the feeling subsided but ALWAYS EAT before you take them.

I think I'll be buying more to last me a month this time. As of right now, I give it:

Effectiveness: 4/5
Side effects: Taking it on an empty stomach increases acidity level in stomach
Price: 15 pesos for 1 capsule (100mg)
Where I bought it: Generics Pharmacy

If you decide to buy it somewhere else other than legal drugstores. Here's a pic on what they SHOULD look like at the back.

The New Year

Here we go again.

The new year. A 'new' beginning for everyone. I've lost count of how many blogs I've created, constantly hoping that somehow, this was it. A blog that I would stick through and through.

Aaaaand, obviously here I am again.

Creating a new post in a new blog, praying to the gods above that I wouldn't forget the password nor the username to this account...again.

But anyways, I should probably stop whining and get on with the introductions.

My name is Lottie Anne and I'm nineteen. I was sorted into Hufflepuff on Pottermore (Go check it out if you're into the Harry Potter series) and still currently very bitter about this fact. Very, very bitter. I love animals and have acquired countless pets throughout my life. I am studying engineering here in the Philippines and absolutely adore makeup.

Throughout this blog, please expect to find lots of reviews of random things. Obviously a few makeup items here and there, but also expect to find little snippets of my life.

So, to whoever is still reading this blog. Thanks for sticking through my first post.
